Author Kathleen Boyes has collaborated with Calvin Klein on his book Calvin, co-authored Donna Karanâs memoir, My Journey (she also recited the audiobook), Trish McEvoyâs The Power of Makeup, Fete: The Wedding Experience, Tommy Hilfigerâs New England and Cindy Crawfordâs Basic Face. She has an incredible copywriting history for clients that include EstĂŠe Lauder, Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, AND she was a fashion editor for Womenâs Wear Daily and W magazine. Most recently, she wrote the beautiful novel RAMS HEAD, which in my opinion deserves its own TV series. Rams Head is the fascinating story of suffragists and friends Carter and Lucille journey to Shelter Island, NY, to open a glamorous country inn hoping to welcome New Yorkâs high society, but they find themselves hosting a cast of misfits instead: war widows, a runaway wife, a pregnant teenager, and more. A great read, and a beautiful setting in one of the most storied places of Shelter Island.
