Hi there,
Before we start, a quick reminder: the first Holy Humans Salon is happening next Friday, November 13th, with psychic and medium Wendy Piepenburg. Tickets are available HERE. Scroll to the end of the newsletter to see the full invitation.

Last Friday we gathered with Rachel Ash and Neal Shenoy, and it was incredibly helpful and insightful. It’s so important to know what we’re putting in our bodies and where it comes from: where products are made, where ingredients are harvested and processed, and how everything is made and stored. That knowledge makes us feel confident in the decisions that shape our long-term health. Thank you to everyone who came, (check a video recap on Instagram HERE), and to our friends at Aplos, Figaro Apothecary and Plain-T. Rachel and Neal shared a very special opportunity extended only to those who attended - don’t miss future events as we may include some interesting surprises.
This week’s newsletter is short and sweet. It’s about belonging and gratitude.
People say, “If it doesn’t exist, create it yourself.” I only fully understood this after I had children. I’ve always been self-sufficient and independent, but raising children with no family nearby, I realized I would have to build a community around us. It’s been the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Finding friends for our children meant making new friends with their parents, too (at least when they were little; less so today). Now that they’re growing up, they don’t need us holding their hands and scheduling play dates, but my husband and I still want a strong community around us, one we’re truly part of.
Meeting so many people through my shop, and then building a real community that is eager to get together and help each other is something I’m deeply grateful for. Like everything else I’ve done through Matriark, I created it because I needed it. I wasn’t sure anyone would show up to my events, let alone enjoy them, but here we are, growing every day and joined by the most incredible people from all walks of life. Every time I see you in person, I feel hopeful about humanity, despite all the craziness in the world.
Thank you for showing up for me and for our community. I hope to see you soon!
Sending love,
Patricia
